Beef cuts

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in collaboration with the professional organisation INVAC, has produced a series of informative and educational materials on beef cuts.

The web page includes:

  • A promotional poster with a chart showing the locations of the various beef cuts.
  • A thematic recipe collection, describing the categories, nature and quality, location and culinary uses of each beef cut. The purpose of this element is to inform the public on the characteristics of the different cuts and their suitability for preparing a range of meals.
  • There is also a puzzle made up of the different beef cuts. This pastime includes a stopwatch and animations for learning and memorising the various beef cuts in an entertaining way.
